TievoluIX is a neutral and independent IXP in the heart of Germany. We provide you a high quality connection to our network with a robust and stable infrastructure. We give you the freedom to connect your network to our IXP and to use our network as you want.

Joining Policy

1. Eligibility

Any legal entity or natural person operating an Autonomous System Number (ASN) and having a valid IP address allocation may connect to TievoluIX. The entity must be able to demonstrate legitimate use of these Internet resources.

2. Technical Requirements

Participants must:

  • Support BGP4 or BGP6 and be capable of establishing BGP sessions
  • Have a minimum port capacity of 10GE
  • Support IPv4 and/or IPv6
  • Maintain up-to-date routing and contact information
  • Configure their equipment according to TievoluIX technical specifications

3. Operational Requirements

Members are expected to:

  • Provide a valid postal address
  • Provide a valid administrative email address
  • Provide a valid technical email address
  • Maintain 24/7 operational contact
  • Respond to operational issues wihtin 48 hours
  • Keep contact information current
  • Follow good networking practices
  • Comply with TievoluIX's Acceptable Use Policy

4. Commercial Terms

Participants must:

  • Sign the TievoluIX Participant Agreement
  • Pay all applicable fees within 7 days
  • Maintain valid insurance coverage as required
  • Provide required documentation for service activation

5. Termination

TievoluIX reserves the right to terminate service:

  • For violation of this Joining Policy
  • For non-payment of fees
  • For actions that threaten the stability of the exchange
  • Upon participant's request with 30 days notice
  • Activities which are against German or European law
